July 4 - 2007 We're set to jam the hell out of Alex's rehearsal space this Saturday. I'm hoping we can wrap up any outstanding writing that needs to be done, and maybe start a new tune. The songs we have on the go right now are together but not polished and shiny enough for an album yet. I would like to say - for anyone who ever reads this - that recording of our first full length album should start sometime in the late summer early fall, with completion late in the year. It also seems it may be easier for me to make it to Toronto with a rental car than I thought (and cheaper too).
Ciao, for now, from my office in London.

May 9 - 2007 With the news of the fire that brought Triad's favourite and Trenton's only good bar down in a pile of ashes, there is some good news this day. I finished recording sample guitars for two tracks to be sent to the auditionee. The two nameless tracks (currently have placeholder names for reference) clock in together in less time than the entire song Aggressive. It is a first, but it feels right. We're just writing and playing as we feel, but still structuring. They sounds really good, and are catchy in a prog-metal kind of way. They should really solidify the sound of this record and what Triad is all about.
So Wahoo is gone. It's sad to see that chapter of our lives close, but maybe a new one will open (no pun intended). Anyway, hopefully the owner doesn't sit on the insurance money and actually builds again.
Until next time,
Shawn
April 27 - 2007 We are well on our way to bringing you the best quality tunes you've ever heard. Hours and days of thought have been put into these songs to accentuate the very prog nature we are coming from. The count is now six. Six ball bustin' tunes. Our never-ending search for a singer is looking brighter, we have two awesome dudes lined up for a chance to sing. We hope they work out well.
It's nearing. Be patient.

April 23 - 2007 Word up, we're still writing. During the eve of today, Pat and I wrote another ball bustin' tune that you should expect to hear on our upcoming album. We won't set any dates as of yet, but expect some online materials to surface late this fall. Kyle is expected to show is mug this evening in Kingston for a nice writing sesh, tonight and tomorrow.
Keep your eyes peeled.
